NS Design Bass Tripod Stand

The foldable Tripod Stand for the NS Design line of Double Basses (which comes as stock with the CR and USA made instruments) is made of heavy duty black chrome-plated steel. The tripod stand provides stable support for both the NS Cello and Double Bass. Full height and tilt adjustments allow the player to select the ideal position, seated or standing. the stand folds for storage and fits in the gig bag. Open and secure the legs so that the two front legs give the widest possible stance (as shown). The back leg should be at a slight angle, so that the main post tilts back slightly. Mount instrument to stand using the large (5/16") thumb screw. Adjust as desired, making sure that the weight of the bass is centered and stable on the stand. Note that the stand is designed to be highly adjustable, and therefore the bass can be set in many interesting positions, including horizontal. Caution! It is possible to set up the stand in an unstable position. Test the stability by tipping the bass so that each leg lifts slightly, and be sure that it returns securely.
